Return & Refund Policy
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Shaazon Inc., we stand behind the quality of our appliances and electronics. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Our policy is designed to comply with FTC guidelines and U.S. state consumer protection laws.
1. Return Period
-
You have 20 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for most items.
-
Items must be in their original, unused condition and in the original packaging, including all manuals, accessories, and warranty cards.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return, regardless of whether the order was placed online or via our hotline:
-
Request an RMA: Contact our customer service at (888) 234-1796 or email support@shaazon.com to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
-
Packaging: Securely pack the item. Returns sent without an RMA number or in non-original packaging may be subject to a restocking fee or rejection.
-
Shipping: For non-defective returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for high-value electronics.
3. Refunds
-
Inspection: Once we receive your return, our technicians will inspect the item to ensure it meets the “original condition” criteria.
-
Approval: Upon approval, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (including payments made over the phone).
-
Timeline: Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to reflect on your bank or credit card statement.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
-
Immediate Inspection: For large appliances, please inspect the item upon delivery. If the item is damaged, refuse the delivery or contact us within 24 hours.
-
Manufacturer Warranty: Many electronics and appliances are covered by manufacturer warranties. If a defect appears after the 60-day return window, we will assist you in contacting the manufacturer.
5. Restocking Fees
-
A restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied to returns of large appliances or high-end electronics that have been opened or show signs of installation, as these items cannot be resold as “new.”
6. Legal Compliance & Section References
Our refund practices are aligned with the following:
-
FTC “Cooling-Off” Rule & Deceptive Practices (16 CFR Part 429):
-
While the “Cooling-Off” rule primarily applies to door-to-door sales, we follow the spirit of the law by providing a clear, transparent 60-day window for consumers to change their minds on significant household purchases.
-
-
California Civil Code § 1723:
-
We satisfy this requirement by conspicuously posting our return policy, ensuring you are aware of your right to a refund, credit, or exchange before the transaction is finalized.
-
-
Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301):
-
We provide clear distinctions between our store return policy and the manufacturer’s limited warranty for electronics and mechanical appliances.
-
-
Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) § 2-601:
-
Grants you the right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract description provided at the time of your online or phone order.
-
